病院・クリニックなどで予約をセラピストがしなければいけない場合、予約に関する英会話表現を知っておく必要があります。
予約に関しては、reservation という単語もありますが、医師やセラピストなど人と会う場合に使う単語は appointment になります。私も最初は reservation という単語を用いていました(^_^;)
英語での電話対応を含めた予約に関するやり取りをまとめてみました。
予約制がない場合の英語対応
患者：I'd like to make an appointment to see a doctor / I'd like to make an appointment with a doctor.
（診察の予約をとりたいのですが。）
セラピスト：I'm sorry, we only accept walk in patients. It's not appointment. You need to come here and check in to see a medical doctor
（診察は予約制ではありません。来院して受付をしてください。）
セラピスト：I'm sorry, you need a medical examination to receive physical therapy.
（リハビリを受けるには診察が必要です。）
事前の電話予約制がない場合のやり取りです。当日ということを言いたいので、on the day としています。
予約制がある場合の英語対応
セラピスト：You need to make an appointment with a medical doctor.
（診察は予約制です）
セラピスト：I'm sorry, It's appointment only. / I'm sorry, physical therapy is appointment only.
（リハビリは予約制です。）
患者：How do I make an appointment with physical therapist?
（リハビリはどう予約したらいいですが？）
セラピスト：Could you call our office during office hours?
セラピスト：Could you give us a call during office hours?
（診療時間内に電話でご予約をお取りください）
患者：I'd like to make an appointment with Yuki.
（Yuki の予約を取りたいのですが）
セラピスト：Could you wait a minute? I'll check his schedule. / Let me check his schedule.
（少々お待ちください、スケジュールを確認します）
リハビリが終わって次回の予約を取る場合の英語対応
セラピスト：Would you like to make an appointment next week?
（来週の予約はどうされますか？）
セラピスト：Would you like to make an appointment by calling?
（電話予約にしますか？）
セラピスト：When would be convenient for you（丁寧）/ When is convenient for you?
（いつが都合がいいですか？）
カジュアルなら、What time and day is good for you? でもいいそうです。
予約を取るときに英語対応
予約を取る時の英語対応についてまとめました。
ちなみに、予約を取る前に「今日はここまでです」と日本語で言うことがあると思います。
That's all for today.
という定番の言い方がありますが、他にも、
Let's leave it there for today.
という言い方もあるそうです。
これはちょっと難しいですが、言えたらちょっと格好いいかもしれませんね。
